Yale School of Medicine, Department of Urology is seeking a qualified, board certified M.D. or M.D. Ph.D. who has completed an accredited sub-specialty fellowship in Reconstructive Urology to expand our current program. This appointment will be at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates should have experience in adult male reconstructive urology including: urethral reconstruction, hypospadias, rectourethral fistula repair, Peyronie’s disease, genital lymphedema, as well as GU prosthetic cases (AUS, male sling, IPP), and be willing to contribute to Yale-New Haven Hospital's growing gender affirming surgery program.
Responsibilities will include clinical care of urology patients, education of students, residents and fellows and participation in research programs. Candidates are expected to develop a clinical practice at both the West Haven Veterans Affairs Hospital as well as within Yale University and the Yale-New Haven Hospital Network, a large regional hospital system. Since the Yale Department of Urology's inception in 2012, we have recruited a dynamic team of 28 faculty and expanded to 4 different care centers across the state of Connecticut. This position will play a vital role in the department's continued growth and expansion.
