The Department of Urology and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University are searching for a full-time faculty member at the tenuretrack rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. We are particularly interested in investigators focused on basic/translational research in prostate cancer. The qualified applicant will be a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. prepared for leadership in the prostate cancer research field with an active, extramurally funded program. Rank, tenure status, and salary will be commensurate with experience.
The new faculty member will join a department with thriving basic research on the mechanisms and therapy of prostate carcinogenesis, angiogenesis in urologic neoplasia, acute and chronic bladder inflammation, erectile dysfunction and penile development.
