Candidates should be committed to academic medicine and have a broad experience in all aspects of Urology. Additional training and/or experience in Endo-Laparoscopy and Percutaneous Renal Surgery is desirable, but not a requirement. Academic rank and base salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and will include an academic appointment at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport and participation in the LSU Health - Shreveport Physicians’ Practice Plan. The successful applicant will join several full-time faculty members in a fully accredited Urology Residency Training Program (two residents per level). This position includes clinical duties and responsibilities at our tertiary University Health Shreveport Medical Center and at our affiliated teaching institutions: Willis-Knighton Health System and Overton Brooks VAMC. Six da Vinci surgical systems (including a dual-console unit) are available for patient care and resident training.
