The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, Division of Urology is seeking qualified, board certified M.D. or M.D. Ph.D. candidates who have completed accredited sub-specialty fellowship training for 4 positions to expand our current program: 1) MaleReconstructive Surgery 2) Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery 3) Regional Care General Urology and 4) Urologic Oncology. Faculty appointments will be at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level commensurate with qualifications and experience. UTMB is the leading trauma center in the region and in combination with the adjacent Galveston Hospital provides ample clinical, academic and research opportunities. Responsibilities will include clinical care of urology patients, education of students, residents and fellows and participation in research programs. Candidates are expected to develop a clinical practice at both the nearby off campus facilities as well as at UTMB main campus, which together form the UTMB Health System, the largest regional hospital system in Southeastern Texas.
