Cheshire Medical Center – Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene is seeking a Chief of Surgery to lead a team of multidisciplinary surgeons to further our mission to lead our community to optimal health and wellness through our clinical and service excellence, collaboration, and compassion for every patient, every time.
Board-certified in practicing surgical specialty.
Eligible for medical licensure in New Hampshire.
Strong communication, team leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience leading and managing surgical care teams and programs preferred.
Provides oversight of all the surgical service lines on campus.
Demonstrates the highest degree of personal and professional conduct, enthusiasm, integrity and collaboration.
Provides overall leadership of surgical providers, ensuring the highest clinical and behavioral standards are met.
In partnership with administrative leadership, helps develop and implement a strategic vision and direction that will lead to continued growth and quality.
The successful candidate will meet qualifications, ideally have the preferred background, and also demonstrate critical thinking, team-orientation, cross-disciplinary/interdepartmental collaboration and a leadership style that includes excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and management skills.
Cheshire Medical Center is a Level three-trauma center with minimal trauma. The hospital serves as a regional referral center and is an integral partner in the growing Dartmouth-Hitchcock System. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon looking to practice in a collaborative setting.
