Provides management support for the Business Integration department in the areas of day-to-day operations and portfolio, program, and project management of key strategic initiatives across the enterprise. Will work with executive leadership and cross-functional project teams to manage the entire life cycle of initiatives, from initiation, planning, implementation, closing, and review. As needed, will support executive sponsors in business case development and the management of deal negotiations and due diligence for corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job * Responsible for the program and project management of key strategic initiatives across the enterprise * Work with executive leadership and cross-functional project teams to manage entire life cycle - initiation, planning, implementation, closing, and review - and supporting tools for assigned initiatives * Responsible for working with sponsors to identify business initiative goals, objectives, and requirements * Responsible for forming and managing high-performing cross-functional teams to scope initiatives, identify and successfully track and complete key workstream deliverables and milestones to meet the goals, objectives, and requirements of initiatives * Support executive sponsors, as needed, in business case development and the management of deal negotiations and due diligence for transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures * Manage the post-go-live initiative review of operational and financial performance compared to ROI * Support management of day-to-day department operations and strategic initiatives portfolio * Maintain project management tools of the Business Integration team * Maintain confidentiality at all times * Maintain a safe and orderly work area * Ability to be at work and be on time * Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and directives * Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner * Ability to prioritize and multi-task
REQUIRED SKILLS: Experience * At least 5 years of demonstrated project management experience in business development area or healthcare transaction and implementation * PMP certification preferred * Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively and appropriately with executive leadership, physicians, and cross-functional teams. * Self-motivated professional with good judgment required * Superior problem-solving capabilities
Education * Bachelor’s degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline. Master’s Degree preferred.
