Overview
Primary Provider of Pediatric Urology in Palm Beach County MEDNAX is seeking an experienced pediatric urologist or newly graduating fellow to join our prestigious South Florida practice. - The practice has been established for over 20 years and is the sole pediatric urological provider servicing Palm Beach County and five surrounding counties.
- Our primary office is located in Boynton Beach with patients also seen in five satellite offices up to Port St. Lucie.
- Due to the volume of the practice increasing, we will be opening a new expanded office this year that includes many more exam rooms and additional private office space for a new physician.
- The practice has a very stable support staff including NPs and in-office ultrasound.
- Surgeries are conducted in a variety of hospitals including Palms West Children's Hospital, Palm Beach Children's Hospital, West Boca Medical Center and Bethesda Hospital.
- We are affiliated with a fellow MEDNAX practice in Miami seeing patients at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and Salah Children's Hospital. This provides exposure to residents and fellows, as well as an ongoing pediatric urology conference schedule and ongoing visiting professorship.
- We actively participate in robotics with access to the state-of-the-art da Vinci Xi as well as multiple other robots at our other participating hospitals.
- There is a designated video uro-dynamic nurse for our South Florida region who provides excellent studies.
- There are teaching opportunities available for the interested candidate to instruct surgical and pediatric residents as well as medical students that rotate through our affiliated hospitals.
