Division of Urology at Brown University and its affiliated hospital, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, are seeking a fellowship trained pediatric urologist. This is a full time, salaried faculty position. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Urology and Pediatric Urology. We are seeking an applicant interested in both a clinical and academic career, willing to collaborate with colleagues as well as medical students and residents. An interest in dedicated research time is welcomed.
The institution offers a fully staffed PICU, excellent pediatric anesthesiology and radiology departments, and it is a level I trauma center. We are part of a division of urology, which represents all urologic subspecialties as well as general urology. Our competitive and highly regarded residency program consists of 2 residents per year.
Hasbro Children's Hospital, a 87-bed hospital, is physically connected to Women and Infants Hospital, a 137-bed hospital, which is the busiest obstetrical hospital in New England and has a state of the art Level 1 NICU.
The applicant must be willing to provide support for community outreach clinics, our multidisciplinary prenatal diagnosis and treatment team, as well as our multidisciplinary spina bifida clinic and urology/nephrology clinic
