The University of Virginia Physicians Group is seeking a Clinical Practice Nephrologist for the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, at the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine. This faculty position is a tenure-ineligible Assistant or Associate Professor, Clinical Faculty, and will be dedicated to the University of Virginia Heath System's clinical outreach development. Conference of Rank is dependent upon experience.
ASPIRE TO WORK WITH THE BEST. This position will serve the greater Culpeper, Virginia, area and will be expected to develop and provide a full spectrum of renal care, including but not limited to patients with end-stage-renal disease, chronic kidney disease, and acute kidney failure. Duties would also involve participation in our program's regional outreach efforts and would require strong independent characteristics that are necessary for building a new Nephrology Practice. A successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to foster excellent relationships with UVA Health System's regional care partners. Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and also be board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the appointment start date.
