About the Position
Urologic Oncology
The Dignity Health Cancer Institute (DHCI) - St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a talented and motivated candidate for our second urologic oncology position. This individual will be an important member of the Genitourinary (GU) Multidisciplinary Team at the cancer center. The position requires the ability to perform complex GU procedures including robotic, laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries for prostate/kidney/bladder disease and be a member of a complex pelvic/abdominal surgery team at SJHMC. In addition, the individual would perform outpatient clinical care, office-based procedures and participate in the multidisciplinary tumor board at DHCI. .
Dignity Health Cancer Institute is a new, 5-story, fully-equipped cancer clinic with a procedural endoscopy suite, infusion center, radiology, lab and pharmacy. We have 7 active multidisciplinary disease teams, each including medical, surgical, radiation, radiology, pathology, genetics and supportive care experts. Building a robust clinical practice, providing direct patient care, and participation in the clinical trials programs are key responsibilities of these positions. We also recommend serving as medical faculty for Creighton University and participating in the education of residents and medical students. The multidisciplinary teams work closely with the leadership of St. Josephs, the Associate CMO for Oncology, the VP Oncology Services and the Dignity Health Medical Group to ensure the growth and the quality of our comprehensive oncology patient care programs.

REQUIREMENTS:
MD or DO degree
Successful completion of Residency and Urologic Oncology fellowship programs
Board Certified in Urology
A passion for providing excellent clinical care
Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
