In this role, you will provide medical evaluation and treatment of patients in collaboration with and under the direction of the Supervising Physician. You will assess, diagnose, treats patients, and provide information to patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and counseling. You will also provide healthcare in a collegial relationship with physicians to patients.
A graduate of an Accredited School of Nurse Practitioner Program (MSN or DNP)
3 years of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
A current California Registered Nurse License
Nurse Practitioner License - California Board of Registered Nursing
ANCC - American Nurses Credentialing Center
American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification (AANP)
DEA - Drug Enforcement Agency License - California Board of Registered Nursing
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric illnesses including addictions
Demonstrated ability to manage patient's health and illness
Ability to collaborate with others & work independently
Effective problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer literacy to operate a computerized client/family information system, word processing and email.
